Haiti Earthquake Relief Infomation

If you would like to donate money or items, here is how.  We have compiled a list of several organizations that are
actively engaged in relief efforts in Haiti.




Catholic Relief Services has committed $5 million for emergency supplies and is accepting donations at its web site http://www.crs.org.

Doctors Without Borders is treating earthquake victims in Haiti. You can donate at
their Web site - Http://www.doctorswithoutborders.org

Direct Relief International: You can make donations online at http://www.directrelief.org

Harris Rosen Foundation. Harris Rosen, famous Orlando hotelier and philanthropist, has launched a relief effort with a goal of $1 million.  Donations can be mailed to the Harris
Rosen Foundation, c/o Haiti Relief, 9840 International Drive, Orlando, FL 32819. This organization is also collecting first aid, medical and hygiene supplies to assist the earthquake victims in Haiti. Drop-off points are:

Harvest Time International collects relief products and monetary donations for earth quake survivors in Haiti. There is a list of collection points and other infomation on their
website that proves very helpful.  Vist them at: http://www.harvest-time.org/

InterAction has a list of agencies responding to Haiti and info. on how to donate.  Check

Neighbors To The Rescue is a fund that was activated by Florida Governor Charlie Crist and is managed by the nonprofit Volunteer Florida Foundation.  Grants are made to
long-term recovery organizations. 

To contribute, visit Http://www.FLADisasterRecoveryFund.org or call 800-825-3786. Be sure to specify that donations are for the Neighbors to the Rescue Haiti Fund.

Red Cross, One of the most active disaster relief organizations worldwide, has partnered with the cell phone companies to make it possible to send donations from cell phones. 
Just text “HAITI” to 90999 and a $10 donation will be sent from your account to American Red Cross relief for Haiti, or call 800-RED-CROSS to speak with an American Red Cross representative.

Save The Children: Outreach programs extend to over 50 countries and has been
helping children for over 75 years. They accept donations at:

UNICEF: UNICEF has teamed with the the Orlando Magic to help earthquake victims.  works in over a 150 countries and territories worldwide and has been a very active

USAID is another organization that has been very active on the ground in Haiti and one of
the first to start relief efforts when the terrible desaster struck in Haiti.  Make donations using
the cell method as with the RED CROSS -  text the word "Haiti" to 90999 or visit USAID online at  http://www.USAID.gov
